**FCP X tends to pull underlying media from a project and this may cause your projects to be longer than expected.
To make sure only your FCP X project (and not the entire clip) gets transcribed, we recommend:
- Export without the music/sound effect tracks
- Re-import that to a new project
- Drag that new project to Simon Says for captioning
