How to receive transcripts as Word documents

1. Upload audio/video and Transcribe

Go to A.I. transcription site, Simon Says, and upload your video file to a new project via the website or one of their extensions for video editing applications. Select the original language of your video dialogue and click ‘Transcribe’.

2. Edit transcript, bookmark snippets, and add speaker labels

Your transcript completes in a few minutes! Next, you can join or split lines, and add speaker labels, notes, and bookmarks.

3. Translate transcript (Optional)

If you need the transcript in other languages, click on the ‘Translation’ button on the toolbar and choose from 100+ languages.

4. Export to Word

Click the export icon at the top right and select the Word icon. Choose whether you want timecode above each paragraph and then select "Let's do this". A zip file will be ready to download in a few seconds. Please ensure your browser permits downloading files. Unzip the file and inside that file is the Word doc which you open in MS Word or another compatible program (like Google Docs).
