James DeRuvo of doddleNews #4 | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2019 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: It's day 4 at NAB. This is Larry Jordan. Things are starting to wind down. The show is going to be ending in a couple more hours. We've got one more show to go after this one, but I thought it was appropriate to talk to the editor-in-chief of our newsgroup, Doddle News. James DeRuvo is sitting next to me. James, you have been wandering the show like a mad person.
James DeRuvo: Final tally, 24 miles.
Larry Jordan: Wow. So let's take a different approach to this. Rather than talk about specific companies, let's talk highlights. What's some of your best hubs?
James DeRuvo: Well, my best hubs, best software has to go to Adobe's content-aware fill tool.
Larry Jordan: Even though you're wrong.
James DeRuvo: It's fantastic. I'm sorry. It's magic. They've got like people sacrificing animals behind the scenes because it's just amazing. So I have to give them the best software for theÔøΩ
Larry Jordan: Now, that content-aware fill works in Adobe After Effects. It doesn't work on Premiere, just to be clear.
James DeRuvo: That is true but, you know, down the road they may. They've been known to port some stuff over to Premiere in the future.
