Larry Jordan: And welcome back. It's day four at NAB. This is Larry Jordan. Sitting next to me is Derek Badala. He's the Director of Sales for the Americas for a company called RME, and if you haven't heard of them, you need to pay attention because these are some good folks. Derek, welcome.

Derek Badala: Thank you.

Larry Jordan: I've had the pleasure of hearing about RME for a long time, but give me more specifics. How would you describe the company?

Derek Badala: Well, RME, at its core, started out as an audio interface company, but truthfully, we're in the studio market, broadcast, live sound. We do very high-resolution mic preamps, converters. We're in everything from music entertainment, live sound, test and measurement. Chances are there's a product you own that was tested with our gear. We work with a lot of OEM companies, so a lot of times, we're the face in the background that nobody knows about.

Larry Jordan: So are you making microphones or are you making the gears that microphones plug into?

Derek Badala: We make the gear that the microphones plug into, specifically multi-line recording, so any kind of multi-channel audio acquisition that needs to be done is very transparent from recording submarine signatures for the Navy to Apple iPhone testing. Playback record is typical, so we work with a lot of companies that do that.
