Bernard Lamborelle of Tiger Technology | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: So, tell us about what Tiger Technology is.
Bernard Lamborelle: Tiger Technology is best known for its File-level sharing and management solution. But we've been evolving a lot in the last 10 years. We're a company that really has very deep and very unique expertise on file systems. And so, what we're trying to do is, as the video world continues to integrate into IT world, we're trying to solve real storage workflow problems with some very unique and interesting technology.
LJ: Now why is the integration of video and media in general with IT important?
BL: Well, because there's unification in terms of just IP-based access for accessing content. People are looking for more and more speed, more and more flexibility in their production workflow and the IT space offers the ability to virtualize a lot of these technologies and just makes it a lot easier for people to just manage access, move stuff around. And then what we're trying to do is facilitate that movement of data and that access of data in a way that makes it more efficient for people.
