Larry Jordan: What would be typical cameras that would use this?

Steven Manios: We're seeing a lot of these. The 150 watt hour's on red and V-Mount because of the power consumption they are able to continue running. We're seeing the FS7 and we just introduced a new battery for the ELF camera which has a 26volts. We've introduced a new large battery for that one. So basically any battery that draws power now the camera is getting smaller and lighter. They don't need the big batteries anymore. Of course our illustrious competitor there owns that broadcast market with most TV stations and there they and now they prefer a bigger beefier battery.

LJ: Now you've also mentioned you've got other product lines. Cartoni comes instantly in mind and are definitely worth mentioning in terms of cameras support. Cartoni have anything new for the show?

SM: Yeah this year we've introduced a smaller head called the Focus SDS. It's what we call our smart deployment series. It's a tripod that quickly expands and contracts with a middle level spreader that will actually lie to about 2 feet off the ground. So it can go from extremely tall to a very low profile and the tripod collapses a lot of tripods with mid-level spreaders. If you spread it you lock it down, when you go to collapse it isolates from the spreaders. Ours are self-collapsing spreaders so as you collapse at the spreaders collapse and no damage to the no torqueing.
