Stephanie Bauer Marshall of SPROCKIT | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: What do you want an upcoming company to know?
Stephanie Bauer Marshall: I would love for them to know about SPROCKIT. They can talk to any of us, any of our alumni who have gone through the program. It's really an incredible value. You can go get a 10 by 10 on the show floor but you will not drive the kind of quality traffic like SPROCKIT combined with NAB. NAB definitely markets us as an innovation destination and we couldn't do it without them. They've been an amazing partner and we're proud to be over in the innovation pipeline area together.
LJ: What are you looking for in terms of companies?
SBM: I've been really searching for female founders. We had 3 out of 30 last year. This year, we have 1 out of 30 so far. And it is on a rolling basis. So, in theory, that's not a great stat. But I do want to change that. And so, I am looking for diverse founders in the areas of Blockchain, workflow tools, edge computing, advertising, things that are going to really change the game for our corporate partners.
