PRESS RELEASE

Removing the frustration in post-production goes global:

Simon Says, Inc.'s 100-language transcription and translation A.I. empowers Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition users to edit faster.

Transcription and translation used to be frustrating. Simon Says solved it for video pros with its swift, accurate timecode-based A.I. engine.

At NAB 2019, Simon Says launches support for 100 languages, removing the universally-felt pain to transcribe interviews and rushes, subtitle and caption edits, and translate projects for global distribution.

How it works:

Import. Select language. Pay. Export. Celebrate.

The XML output seamlessly integrates with non-linear editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition so editors can focus on the story, unfettered by the mundane, undeterred by the tedious.

Simon Says is accessible via the web and Mac / Windows applications, including an on-premise solution, for those operating in high-security environments, where no data is sent to the cloud.

"Video professionals shoot and record content all over the world, in foreign environments and in foreign languages. The stories they tell from all corners can help bring humanity closer together," says Sue Skidmore, head of partner relations for Adobe Video.  "It is our mission, with the support of collaborators like Simon Says and its robust transcription and translation A.I., to empower these talented creators, wherever they live and shoot."

"That means these tools need to be inclusive of global filmmaking and their worldwide audiences, and Simon Says' supported languages now cover almost the entire population of Earth," says Mike Matzdorff, Head of Industry (Production) at Simon Says and longtime animated film editor in Hollywood.

Simon Says and members of its core team are deeply rooted in the creative industries.  "We are inspired by artists - not just by their art itself but their tenacious journey to create it," says Shamir Allibhai, CEO of Simon Says.  "The advanced AI tools we build constantly seek to answer ÔøΩhow can we help make that journey a little bit easier, a little bit better?'"

Simon Says is grateful to be a stalwart part of the journey of countless video professionals around the world.
