Simon Says transcribes in 90 (ninety!) languages.

From Afrikaans to Zulu: see the full list of languages below.

There are over 7,000 languages spoken around the world. But when it comes to transcription, English transcription dominates and you end up paying a whole lot more on top for transcription in a handful of other languages like French or Spanish. Good luck trying to transcribe content in languages beyond this narrow set.

Simon:  "90 languages may sound like a lot to learn but my philologist friend suggested I start with a particular language I am comfortable in and this would lead me to adjacent languages that would be quick to pick up because of shared vocabulary, phonemes, and structure. Before I knew it...I'm thinking of learning Syriac next."

Swift, accurate transcription is crucial for numerous industries such as news, research, radio, and legal. Since our inception, we have worked to eliminate many of the barriers (i.e. variable costs, slow turnaround, and quality) standing between great transcription and the people who need it. However, one problem remained: there is a large bias towards English.

What about all the other languages spoken, cumulatively, by billions of people?

Transcription's Language Problem

Many traditional transcription services specialize in English and maybe a handful of other languages, which they charge extra for. Frequently, users are forced to forego the transcription because of difficulty, unavailability, or prohibitive costs.

It is 2017: transcription should really be easier than this.
