Larry Jordan: Welcome back. This is Day 1 of the NAB Show. This is Larry Jordan. And I'm talking with Paul Isaacs. He's the Director of Product Management and Design for Sound Devices. Hello, Paul. Welcome back.

Paul Isaacs: How are you doing Larry. Thanks for having me.

Larry Jordan: It is always fun to talk about audio because we're an audio podcast, and you guys are doing the stuff that we love every day so it's always fun chatting. For people that may not know, give us a quick description of Sound Devices.

Paul Isaacs: Well, Sound Devices has been around for about 20 years, making cool portable mixes and recorders primarily for the TV and film industry, but in the last few years, we've been making portable recorders. For other markets like podcast, YouTubers, any form of content creative videographers, last year before we released a mixed pre-series we brought out technology to a wider audience. That's been going really well. We actually started branching at some MI markets as well recently.

Larry Jordan: MI?

Paul Isaacs: Yeah. We've developed sort of an overdubbing technology so now people can make music without a computer like multitrack and create great songs without having to sit in front of a computer and be an IT technician. So that has been very successful over the last year.
