Larry Jordan: Let's focus on the type of company for the purpose of our discussion. What products do you have for the smaller work groups?

Parham Azimi: This is actually what we just recently launched. We launched a hybrid cloud media management platform, which we call Iconik.

LJ: Iconik?

PA: Yes. What we mean with a hybrid cloud is that we allow our customers to keep their original assets, they're basically terabytes and petabytes, on-premise and what we do is that we transcode to proxies and extract the technical metadata and push that automatically to the cloud. So we basically provide a presentation of what the customers have on-premise but in the cloud.

LJ: Why should we store it on the cloud if we've already got it stored locally?

PA: Storing the proxies, especially in the cloud, allows you to globally be able to collaborate with your colleagues or with external stakeholders. This is especially interesting for when you're editing content, for instance. If you have a global editorial team and you want to be able to collaborate with each other, you can do that using the proxies stored in the cloud and be able to, for instance, work on a Premiere project on one side and save that back to the cloud and allow your colleague on the other side of the world to pick that up using the proxies, continue work on it and, once you're done, we help you collect that original asset to be able to render the timeline for the final master.
