Larry Jordan: And it's the start of Day 4, the final day, for the 2019 NAB Show. And you'd think that all the people in the booths are exhausted but the people asking them questions are as fresh as ever. There's a lot of activity going on the floor. And sitting next to me is AJ Herrera. He's the VP of Marketing for Caringo. Aj, it's been many years we've had a chance to talk. Welcome back.

Adrian "AJ" Herrera: Thanks Larry. Glad to be here.

Larry Jordan: Tell usÔøΩ For people that have heard of Caringo but don't know what you guys do, describe the company.

Adrian "AJ" Herrera: So Caringo, we've been around for 13 years. We've always focused on storage software specifically object storage. Your listeners may be familiar with object storage. It enables every major cloud storage service out there, but we're used to stand up your own private cloud within your data center.

Larry Jordan: Well, there's a couple of different versions of object storage. I know Quantum is pushing store next week. Why should somebody consider Caringo?

Adrian "AJ" Herrera: Oh, well, a lot of our competitors only focus on archive cheap and deep storage. I think that's what most people think when they think object storage, but we have content management built in. And here at the show, we're also talking a lot about on-demand workflows, specifically long tail VoD, OTT, all being enabled from our objects stores out there.
