Go to Simon Says and create a new project. Upload your video file, ideally without music and sound effects to increase the accuracy. Select the original language of your video dialogue and click ‘Transcribe'.
The transcript will be ready in minutes! Next, you can combine or split lines, and add metadata, such as speaker labels, notes, and bookmarks. If you are creating video subtitles/captions, preview the transcript with the ‘Visual Subtitle Editor'. Simon Says will manage timecode syncing as you edit.
If you need the transcript in other languages, click on the ‘Translation’ button on the toolbar and choose from 100+ languages.
Navigate to ‘Export’ and choose your preferred format. Simon Says supports all major non-linear video editing applications, subtitle formats, and popular file types, such as Microsoft Word, TXT, and CSV.
