Log in to A.I. transcription site Simon Says at www.simonsaysai.com and create a new project. Upload your video/audio files. Select the original language of the files and click ‘Transcribe'.
Review the transcript, add speaker labels, create notes, and bookmark snippets. Simon Says will auto-sync the timecode as you edit. Optionally, you can also translate the transcript via the export window - we support 100+ languages.
Next, go to ‘Export’ and under ‘Other’, select ‘Avid Pro Tools AAF’. If you have translations, make sure ‘All files in the project’ is checked. Unzip the downloaded file.
Drag the unzipped AAF file(s) into the same folder as your audio/video file that you transcribed to make re-linking easy. Open Avid Pro Tools and create a new Project; make sure it matches your media files’ specifications. Finally, go to ‘File’ > ‘Import’ > ‘Session Data…’ and select your AAF file(s).
