How to add burn-in captions/subtitles to your video

1. Sign In. Upload video. Transcribe

Go to Simon Says (SimonSays.ai), the AI transcription and translation site, and upload your video. Select the original language of your video dialogue and click ‘Transcribe’.

2. Translate captions (Optional)

The transcript is ready in minutes! If you need subtitles in other languages, click on the ‘Translation’ button in the main toolbar and choose from 100+ languages. Otherwise, skip to the next step!

3. Preview in Visual Subtitle Editor

Next, click ‘Export’ and select ‘Visual Subtitle Editor’. Here you can preview the captions, adjust line breaks, and make any edits. Simon Says will auto-sync the timecode for you.

4. Export and embed captions
