Tama Berkeljon of Creamsource | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2019 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: And welcome back. This is the first day of the 2019 NAB Show. My name is Larry Jordan. We're wrapping up day one. We still have one more show to go and a great group of guests to cover the action and the new technology that's being announced here at NAB.
We're starting with Tama Berkeljon. He is the CEO of Creamsource. Hello, Tama. Welcome.
Tama Berkeljon: Hi, Larry. Thank you.
Larry Jordan: So what is Creamsource do?
Tama Berkeljon: Creamsource is really a technology company focused specifically on lighting, and focuses really at the center of film, and where that meets also with television and broadcast.
Larry Jordan: And when you say you're a technology company, what does that mean?
Tama Berkeljon: Well, I guess our approach is to try and break down the design problems that filmmakers have using sort of technology based approach.
Larry Jordan: I hate to break it to you, but we've had lights in Hollywood like since the beginning of time, why should somebody pay attention to Creamsource?
Tama Berkeljon: I think because of our unique blend of design mixed with technology and our unique problems that we've faced have caused us to produce, I guess, unique solutions.
