Andrew Donahue of Killer Tracks | Interview snippets from NAB BuZZ 2018 podcasts with Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan: Helping out is a good thing but helping out with new stuff is an even gooder thing. What have you got that's news?
Andrew Donahue: The most exciting thing, we just released an extension panel for Adobe Premiere Pro which allows editors working in Adobe Premiere to be able to access the search on our website to access themed playlists. They don't have to go to the website to search and download; they can do it all within their Premiere window, so it cuts out a lot of extra time. You can preview audition tracks, if you like them, click download and it adds it right into to the Premiere workflow.
LJ: Congratulations.
AD: Thank you.
LJ: So basically, it's an integrated front end into your website?
AD: Correct. Yeah, it mirror's the search and all the functionality in our website within Premiere and, on the backend of that, we have a helper program, which you export your EDL file from whichever video editing software you want, drop it into an area on our website, and it will put out a Excel file with the time in, out, composers, what tracks were used, so save a lot of people listening and stopping and that manual work that no one likes to do.
